Information: POWER's mission is to help women reclaim their lives from the disease of addiction to alcohol and other drugs, and re-duce the incidence of addiction in future generations. In order to meet the diverse needs of women in recovery, POWER offers residential, outpatient, partial hospitalization, and jail recovery support services through six distinct programs. The Reintegration program serves women who are incarcerated in the Allegheny County Jail and are willing to examine how alcohol or other drug use has affected their lives. Power House is a 25-bed residential treatment facility � and halfway house program for adult women. POWER Connection offers the full range of services to mothers, pregnant women or women caring for children, who acknowledge or are suspected of abusing alcohol or other drugs. Services are provided at Power New Day Outpatient Services: Assessment, Individual and group counseling, Trauma-specific groups, Music and art therapy, Life skills development classes, including relapse prevention, Drug and alcohol education, Resource coordination and transportation assistance, Aftercare planning and follow-up.
